The revelation of this trip was @VICGolfClub. It has the most interesting terrain of the Sand Belt courses we played and endless charm. The recently redone greens are as pure as it gets. Aussie icon Peter Thomson became a member @VicGolfClub in the 1940s and still looks out upon the course. The clubhouse memorabilia only begins to hint at his many glorious accomplishments. The club was flying an American flag when we arrived - they put up the home flag of overseas visitors. @kauricliffs did this, too. Such a thoughtful gesture.
