Opened in 2016, Ocean Dunes continues the great work being put into Australian golf and joins Cape Wickham as a must-play course on King Island. Located close to the Currie airport, one can be off the plane and warming up in a matter of minutes.
This course was designed by Graeme Grant, an avid Alister MacKenzie fan who worked at legendary courses like Royal Melbourne and Kingston Heath. With the rugged shoreline of King Island, known traditionally for smashing ships against its rocks, now presenting a beautiful backdrop, this course's well-kept fescue fairways are designed wide to account for the wind while the greens are comprised of bentgrass- making the putting surface felt-like and smooth.
